Our Mail Box - Nuestro Buzón de Correo
The city has been working on our street for almost 9 months and now that the street is done, they are working on small detail and fixing wherever they destroyed. A perfect example is our MAIL BOX.

La ciudad ha estado trabajando en la calle de nuestra casa por casi 9 meses y ahora ya casi todo esta listo. Ahora están trabajando en los últimos detalles al igual que arreglando las cosas que dañaron, por ejemplo, nuestro buzón de correo.

Nuevo Ano 2006 - New Year is Here
The New Year is here and typical people start asking what you did for Christmas Eve, New Year Eve, etc... And this year was a little different than previous one. We had a good time in Jennifer' sister house for Christmas Eve, drinking and eating a lot. After, Christmas Jennifer and I decided to have a movie week. We saw, in the theater King Kong, Fun With Dick and Jane, Syriana, y en DVD Wedding Crashers and two more that I don’t need to mention. I have to say they were very good movies.... but King Kong is the best of all movies this year. Peter Jackson, the director, is really a genius. He makes us forget what real and not real was integrating them in amazing way. Wedding Crashers is one of the funniest movie of the year and those two guys together are so good that I expect to see them doing something else together.

El 2006 ha llegado y con el las tipicas preguntas que la gente te piensa hacer, que hicistes para Navida, para ano Nuevo, etc. Este ano fue un poquito diferentes que los anteriores. Jennifer no tenia ese entsiamo navidenos de anos anteriores y yo simplemente queria relajarme y pasarla lo major possible. Despues de Navidad Jennifer y yo decidimos tener una semana de pelicula y fuimos a ver King Kong, Fun With Dick and Jane, Syriana, y en DVD Wedding Crashers todas increibles pero tengo que quitarme el sombrero con King Kong. Esta debe ser una de las mejores peliculas del ano y como dice mi amigo Sebastian Peter Jackson, el directo, lo hiso de nuevo. Weeding Chashers, no tengo idea como la llamaron en espanol, es una de las comedias mas comidas del ano. Me parecio muy buena y la mescla de los protagonistas, Vince Vaughn y Owen Wilson, es tan buena que espero verlos juntos en otros projectos.

Thanksgiving / Dia de Gracias
My moms was here and we decided to have a traditional American Thanksgiving
dinner. She had fun and she tried at least three dishes that she had never
seen before. Jennifer, her mom, Linda, my mom, Gladys, and me has a good
family dinner.

Uno mas para la cuenta / One more to count
Ayer fue mi cumpleaños... Y fue uno de esos días en que no quería hacer nada, echado en mi cama viendo TV. Y al final del día pienso y pienso, un ano menos de vida y todavía tengo tanto que hacer y lograr. Pero al menos puedo decir que me siento encaminado y cumpliendo cada día mas de mis objetivos en esta vida.

Yesterday was my birthday... and it was one of those days in which I didn't want to do anything. I spend the whole day in home watching TV like a couch potato. It was a good feeling by the way. Also, at the end of the day I thought about how much I want to do in this life and I have one year less to archive my goals. But at least I can say that I feel that I am in the right way and archiving my goals day by day.

3 dias solito con los perros
Este es uno de esos momentos cuanto te quedas solo en casa por que tu esposa se va a un seminario, convención, etc... y los amigos te preguntan, te vas de rumba or que vas a hacer ya que Jennifer no esta?
Y pienso, y pienso, y la respuesta es típico: NADA. Montare mi bicicleta, jugare golf, no más que eso. Como un buen esposo, eso diria nuestras madres.
Pero creo que llamare a mis amigos para que nos tomemos unas cervecitas después de montar bici

Today is one of those moments when you are going to be by yourself for 3 day because you wife is leaving to a seminar, convention, etc... and your friends ask you "are you going out, what are your plan with Jennifer out?”
I think, and think, and the answer is: NOTHING. Go bike; go play some golf, that's all. Good husband, that is what mothers will say.
But I will take some beers after biking.
